26 All secondary circuits must be flushed before connecting to the district heating transfer station! Make sure that the district heating transfer station is installed with the correct orientation and that the connections are leak-tight! The sealing materials specified by the manufacturer must be used. Prior to commissioning, connect all primary connections to the district heating network, all secondary-side heating circuits, expansion tanks as well as hot water storage tanks if fitted, cold water connections and circulation pipes. Furthermore, when mounting the station, ensure sufficient distance from the wall on the heat exchanger side. 1.7 Hydraulic connection 1.7.1 Filling/ venting Primary Make sure that the heat transfer station is connected in an operationally safe manner. Pressure-test the installation according to the parameters shown on the name plate. Flush, fill and vent of the system thoroughly. The manual adjustment cap of the control valve must be open for this purpose. If it is necessary to retighten the seals, we recommend the following tightening torques: ½″ seal16x24x2mm30Nm/¾″ seal23x30x2mm40Nm/1″ seal 27 x 39.3 x 2 mm 110 Nm Filling must only be carried out in the direction of flow of the installed valves! Take care when opening the shut-off valves! The technical connection requirements of the power utility must be complied with for connection to the district heating network! Comply with the applicable code of practice when connecting a domestic water heating system. Secondary The station must be filled on the secondary side via the filling and drain tap. Particular attention must be paid to bleeding the entire heating circuit. With the DWH buffer storage solution connected, the air valve installed in the flow exchanger connection is used for bleeding the exchanger charging circuit manually. Non self-bleeding pumps must be bled after the secondary side has been completely filled. This prevents the pumps from suffering damage due to dry running. The secondary side is filled until the intended system pressure is reached. It is essential for the owner to have installed an expansion tank of adequate size for the performance requirement.. Response pressure of the safety valve!! See Name plate à Maximum pressure PS heating 1.7.2 Filling water quality The heat transfer station must be filled according to VDI 2035.
